We’re excited to partner with Planted Society to launch Eat for Impact in Nairobi. This one-month, city-wide sustainability initiative harnesses the power of food to address climate change!
As a climate and environmental initiative, Eat for Impact works with locally owned restaurants to introduce climate-friendly, plant-based dishes that remain on menus throughout the month. This simple but powerful shift in what’s being served and eaten demonstrates how our daily food choices directly influence the planet.
Each meal is a climate action. At the end of the challenge, we’ll quantify the combined carbon savings generated by participating restaurants and diners, showcasing what’s possible when community, climate, and cuisine come together.
The initiative doesn’t just promote sustainability, it supports locally owned small businesses, empowers conscious consumers, and makes low-carbon lifestyles visible, accessible, and rewarding.
Food systems are central to climate solutions, and this collaboration is one step closer to building a future where eating well also means protecting the Earth.
